atm still working on this project thread and more pics here And these are some new shots from my entry in the Ghibli contest on fb. I ended up at 4th place :D Here are some more pics on my Artstation. I'm thinking of making a 3D print of this. Any suggestions on this?
You realize that 50% of an 8K is just 4x8k right? a 2k map is 1/16th the resolution of a 8k. So technically, no, you couldn't. Now if he's just got a blurry mess with no real detail on a texture that large, then yes, but basics math tells you 2x2k doesn't = half of 8x8k.
Lovely cat! Imagine the boss in your company stomping in the artists studio saying "Ok our next game will not be "The 7th Wizards Cauldron" - a Massively Overrated Online Multiplayer Experience, but we will head into a totally different genre "Sparkles the Cat", COMPRENDE!" Ok, that would truly be a test for the game…
8th Dec is Euro launch i think, and it will most likely be 250euros atleast i hope it will not be 250pounds. Its not worth importing if you just want to save money because if customs stop it you most likely end up paying more not to mention the possible hassels with warranty and stuff.
Aol's fairly cheap, although I've been on 1/8th of the speed we're paying for since we signed up. They said it would 'even out in ten days'. hahaha. yeah, well. Youtube will only load every once in a while, and even then it'll probably die mid-load.
Wow, sorry to see you go out like that. Raven's like the 5th company thats made the news this week with layoffs. On the bright side, you did get laid off off at a time when a lot of good games are set to release, so you'll have no shortage of entertainment.
yea the 9th one is one of the strongest. I like how they are hunched and just look more so tribal/beast like. the other ones seem to be too elegant or overdone. (IE look like a hunter class, or warrior, ect) So yea my vote is last 2 as well.
must have this game.... though i read rumors the other day that the game has been delayed. the novelization has been pushed until June and Amazon.com has the release date of the game as August 26th . though the Making of/Art book and the RPG supplement are still listed for March releases.
Kojima and crew art at it again with the Castlevania franchise. In this recently released gameplay footage for the title, we get a glimpse at the combination of stellar environment and character art. LODs are an optimization technique, if you disable them you might have terrible performance, besides sth called 'overshading' which is a uggly visual glitch, but disabling LODs might be okay for short distances like interior scenes. Idk about vertex painting in UE, but why don't use ordinary baked textures instead?
