Trying to push this piece as far as possible. Making slight adjustments before the last day of class this Wednesday. Will post again if significant changes are made. Modeled in Maya, sculpted in ZBrush, clothes in MD, textured in Substance Painter, and rendered in V-Ray. -

I'd try checking the normals on the low poly and resetting them. Also exporting and importing as obj may work. Also do you have Max 2.5 Star and supersampling enabled? Just curious if you're using Mental ray or scanline. -

Lighting update: Did the fixes to the ceiling lights ,changed attenuation radius of lights so it does not hit the ground too harsh. and more realistic push sideways . still have some work to do with the lights though. Removed all support lights and increase GI Diffuse boost and indirect bounces to 5, that seemed to help… -
