I noticed if im working in photoshop and i save the psd first and then save it as a dds or png that max won't update. Im not sure if your saving it liek this but i try and save out the file i need first THEN save my psd. -

I am using ps7 but i realy cant find any "Brush Dynamics" button, what i see on the top right fof my screen is a tab for the brush properties. Also how do you rotate your brush in ps7 ? :| -

No such thing. I play PS2 games with characters that have 10,000 polygons because there are only 2 on screen, and I play PS2 games with characters that have much, much less. It depends on lots of things. Memory Scene complexity Objects in view etc... -

Also, try to avoid using PSD if you weren't already; you're asking Max to flatten huge files (you know how big PSD's can get), and then load in this temporary file. Way slower than a flattened TGA or even JPG. -

Tri count is crazy subjective. In a first person shooter on XB1, PS4 or PC you could have a 30-70k weapon no problem. For third person you would probably have a very high res model like above(for cinematics), but in game it may be much less as all those details would be lost due to screen resolution. Hi! Does this happen on all projects or is it just the one? We've found a bug where projects who are saved as psb's sometimes wont export. Is your project large by any chance? ( the larger the project the bigger chance of psb) Sorry about your hassles!
