Figured it out, it was because I had "mirrored" turned on in the texture for the wrap mode. Which doesn't make a lot of sense. Seams more intuitive to me that it would be the other way around, oh well.
that is totally cool, what project are you working on? or is it under wraps until a later date? i have a big thing for 90s retro graphics, id like to see more games made like this
Here's my entry I guess. I don't have time to work on this anymore before the 13th so I'm wrapping things up. Might changes some small things after the deadline.
Well thank you very much ! I Adjusted the reference plane and now there's no gap and no more texture stretching, so I guess I can put them back to Wrap since it's fixed.
yea, good point. if i wrap the body with some tape, like scotch tape? just to avoid the clay being sliced? as the cloth will cover the body, guess it wont be much of an issue after all
the concept would be if the mesh has 5 different materials, that would mean 25 different textures being sampled and being combined together. What does Wrap/clamp change a texture sample too?
@Sam Tang: I'm still trying to wrap my head around how exactly you went around doing the hardsurface sculpts for Mecha Kah'zix. I'm trying to learn, but it's murdering my brain.
Love the look of these comments... I like the seriouscat comment ... I fully agree. Show some work and wrap it all up. I cant wait to see this with updates. Only 9 days left!
Wow I wish I could do that.. You should model a Terran Marine next! I can't wrap my head on how to make precision armor as opposed to organic characters hehe.
heh I was watching a wolf spider spin its web in the garden and we fed it a fly that was buzzing around a window inside the house.. was amazing to see it wrap up the fly and start to suck it dry
