hi, maya is being very hate full to me and my insert edge loop tool isn't making straight lines across a plane box like shape goes all wonky if u know the problem plz share :P if not it there a way to make split edge snap on 90 degrees and stuff like that ? -

Max 8 Crashing
Max is randomly closing on me - especially if I try to go into vertex subedit mode. I exported and reimported the file both as .OBJ and .3DS files. This only created more geometry (converted to triangles when I imported it back). I need to keep my geometry fairly intact. I tried attaching it to another polygon, but that… -

3ds max 8 render error
I'm getting a wierd problem where every few renders I do one of my models texture is rendering incorrectly... sometimes it renders normal while others it renders with what looks like a messed up UV map. What's goin on?
