5800/5900x and a 3070/3080 with 32gb (leaving space for 32 more) would be a fairly good place to be. The extra cores in my 5950x are of dubious real world benefit and outside of processing genuinely huge datasets I rarely go past 32gb of ram usage. I'd suggest that the money is better spent elsewhere
I priced out the Surface 3 and it was like $1500 total. The Cintiq was $1850 total. Including tax on both. The $350 different to have a matte screen, hotkeys, and an additional 1792 pressure levels from the Surface 3 256 levels is worth it in my book.
unusable.. unnavigatable stuttering , sticking. no ambient occlusion on my hardware ati 4850, amd x2 4400 I'd gladly re-install my nvidia 7800 gtx if anyone has the same and has had better luck? sad sad day.. :poly141:

I'm a cheap bastard without work, so mine would be something in the lines of a quad (honestly, don't know which one), 3gb of Ram, 500Gb, a ati 4850 dual 2gb DDR3, a 19 inch CRT monitor. As for the motherboard, it depends on what CPU I'd go with.
