Awesome gonna give it a go. Got some side 3d freelance projects I am doing but soon I can complete my build. For now its good old ps3 and xbox 360 and my laptop for modeling. Honestly modeling on my laptop hasn't been that bad.
Thanks @Ragnar_Danneskjöld, I've seen that book floating around over the years, but never had a chance to look at it. Your review has sold me. I'll be ordering soon for sure. @DGB : Good point, I see what you mean. I'll be sure to correct this on my next update.
With the texturing a very grimey urban feel, something looking similar to brooklyn or so. For the lighting I want to get an intense mist/snow mid nov sort of time. Managed to do wonders with the UDK imports now just for texturing, will hopefully have some more screens up soon.
Thanks!, Minato - I don't have a Vimeo channel, but I will create one soon and put the full series up on there. Part 2 is now up and I got over the modeling of the high poly handle and screws. Hope you find something useful in there! Check the initial post for links
or just try oil paining - your hands get tired too pretty soon if you're used to just having them rest on your desk, holding a mouse or a wacom. But maybe with some training it won't be that stressful. would be a cool gimmick for presentations though or virtual whiteboards or art critiques
I saw this in video form, since I run XP. Looks amazing though. I was wondering who the artists were behind it. Really stunning work. I cannot wait to learn this tesselation pipeline workflow myself someday soon. Darnit, I need to upgrade to Win 7!
NEOX...DEF the pants are coming back on!! haha...i havnt set up the smoothing on his clothing yet...there are some TRIS i need to take out...so doing that now...will update soon with some textures....im gonna be messing with some style test for texturing. thanks all!
Thank you both for the feedback! :) I'll look to address those in my next update in the next couple of days. And thanks HMM_ROCK, I was trying to go for the Sunset Overdrive look, I love the art in their game (and I hope they like mine when I apply to them soon O.O).
As soon as SMT x FE gets a release date, I'll be buying a WiiU as fast as I can get to the store. The WiiU library looks like it will be the most memorable though, so many unique looking games, especially compared to everything that has been announced for both the PS4 and XB1.
Made some more progress on the middle, will be doing a bit more once I get back home as I will be moving soon. please any more help is much appreciated, getting the bullet dispenser point is a pain in the ass and getting the right shapes is killing me, all help is welcome.
