I've got 3 hours into this power source/reactor for my sci fi scene I'm working on, pretty pumped how easily its coming together. I clearly have more to do but I figure i'd post up what I did so far.
My first try on normal maps and specular maps, my 4th object. Assignment was max 300o tris and 1025 diffuse, specular and normal maps. Build a prop for a FPS from a real life reference. No fancy filtering and maximum 3 dynamic lights. I'm pretty satisfied:
so many good stuff here, i'm so jealous. Looks like I'll have to plug my talent stealing machina, muahaha..Whilst it'll run, here are some, without shame, xposts :) Whilelmina and Urs, Hipoly and lowtex :3 Working on both ends of the spectrum.
hey guys! :D its been some time i posted some work here. i have posed and rendered the Dark Tower katet characters! its always nice to see great quality work in polycount! keep it up guys http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2012/093/6/1/rolan_de_gilead_by_ehnoi-d4uxhf7.png…
Wow, very impressive work onetru! Do you have the texture flats? I just finished my capillary tower, just a small quick asset for sculpting practice And then I'm also working on this generator from resistance 3 Thread http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104659
seth: <3 claytubes, i like how you're shaping those forms Neolight: looking very nice, i like both the concept and 3d so far zxcman: good flow in there, maybe the shoulderpad could use a graphic ontop? trying to sculpt a female face, subtlety is a bitch
Doing a few rock studies with zbrush. All of the stones were quickly sculpted (about 3-5min per rock), then polypainted in Projection Master with photo textures, then assembled in 2.5D canvas using the tilde offset functionality. I haven't been using ZBrush for long, so there's a lot of learning to go.
Awesome stuff guys. :) Cross posting, an update after too long on mah Huntress character: More info in the thread, but I'll just say I'm aware of the weird cloak folds, that's because there was a backpack strap there which is now gone, and I just haven't got around to redoing that area (3:30am :( )
Ha, awesome I've been waiting for some Diablo 3 fan art since the game came out. Act 2 is my favorite place by far, are you going to be going to be sticking the the mostly rock, bones, and tar pits found in that area, or are you going to be putting in some wood structures too?
I'm trying to get into some more zBrush stuff, working on a tillable brick texture. Would appreciate some feedback but didn't wanna make a thread. So I'm going to bring these back into Max, rotate the bricks a bit and swap them about to make 2 or 3 different textures for some variety.
