Decided to try to learn zbrush and sculpting again. My sculpt is probably crappy, but someone might still get inspired or something :) I am just amazed at all the cool models and sculpts that I just had to post. Hopefully I will be placing more sculpts here cuz this are basicly stuff that I wont finish.
Did a quick sketch a while back that I thought I'd try and turn into a low res 3D model at some point. First image - concept 2nd/3rd/4th image - Started some basic sculpting in Zbrush, before I got side tracked with other projects :shifty: I like to think I'll come back and finish it one day...
@filipefrango, not if you export the mesh out from zbrush, add the shit and re import it. which is completely stupid i know, but I did it, I just couldnt figure out after i brought an object in from apend how to scale / move that object seperatly from the main mesh, it wasn't working for me but it was probly me not knowing…
Just discovered Sculptris from the makers of ZBrush and immediately tried it out. Quite different from what I am used of (SketchUp^^), but pretty fun! Will keep trying it out! This one took about 50 min Was surprised my macbook could handle the 650000 tris, but painting isn`t in^^ Can´t wait to test this on my PC :P
anatomy is .. yeah *cough* that neck..... 1 hour dynamesh doodle after browsing through cghub.com and seeing a drawing by Darren Bartley (fightpunch).. Not exactly true to the original and not overly detailed but I was mainly trying for the shape and proportions to get a "believable" char from a quick glance. -Basically a…
Guess this fits in this thread since I f'*** up the symmetry (head and hands, resym won't work properly) and wont finish it. Anatomy is hard, knees are impossible and female calfs are alien. Basemesh (1174 polys .OBJ) if anyone wants: http://depositfiles.com/files/n5se6ikx1 And ZBrush specific tool (.ZTL) with ready…
Too annoying if i want to move the eyes, the mirroring tends to mess up or the tools distort them in some way, i don't know, zbrush fights me at all turns. :shifty: Anyway thanks for the suggestions about subtool master, i'll get ahold of it and sculpt something with decent eyes some time so you'll all quit yelling at me.…
just got Zbrush last night, very easy to use... it's like playing with Clay.. love it. anywhoo here are my first quick doodles. I used to do some light modeling stuff in 3dsmax back in the day, but this is the first time I have touched modeling in like 9 years :D... I was inspired after watching some videos on youtube with…

I made it in 3 hours, my first 'real' model on ZBrush. It's a mix between a human and a carnivorous plant. I will maybe use it (Well, a low poly version) for my first 'real' map (based on my dormitory, with a kind of Silent Hill style). Any idea to make it look better ? EDIT : I have no idea on how to work the "tentacle"…
