@tako: sick business mate love the cloth folds. its looking tight. for the hair you could just do it with planes and use maybe 2-3 variations. But wanted to say it looks great cuz no one else did :P
finally finished baking my low-poly...at least i'm getting better :D @MM...im no professional but that is one awesome result ur getting crits & comments welcome btw :3 edit: poly/tri count is wrong :s
After some long (3 min) intense diliberation with my panel (my brother) here is the finalized clothing silhouette gonna start working on the color scheme now :) ps. would be nice to get some crits on the design so far
Rough concept to pitch to my instructor. Have to pitch 3 ideas and I guess he chooses which one we'll actually be making. The other ideas I'm just going to use reference pics for... I'm no concept artist heh.
Lunchtime thingie from the last 3 days, and I'm liking this guy! Time to retopo and sculpt him properly and do some tessalation in UDK! When I finish my Deadwood piece of course. :) I think I'll call him Henry...
Neox: oh my, what big teeth he has! I can't decide whether it's creepy or cute :3 Thanks daphz! For yours.. I will say, I have never seen anything like it! It makes me happy to look at though.
Not much, but; Can't say I am 100% satisfied with the textures, it's as if there are 3 styles going on in this item. The knobby parts of the hilt are supposed to look like some kitchen knives I have seen, they simply have 'pores' in the metal to add some grip.
thanks guys <3 nice one Mladen bonebrew: check your pic links, they're not showin up on my end still wippin away, not totally sold on the hair... and I'm not really sure when it started but this is becoming the creepiest thing ever
After seeing Transformers 3, I had to try and model the new girl, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She got some flak in the General Discussions thread here, but I don't care. I think she's beautiful. :) Just zbrush & polypaint.
Kinda sorta. They eyes and eyebrows are a transparent texture on two planes that'll be rendered in front of his face. His mouth is on one as well. The plan is to be able to paint the textures for different expressions, without needing to rig anything up. This is really lovely! <3
