I wrapped up about a year long contract with Bluehole working on PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. Here are some of my props from the Miramar map. "PUBG - Miramar" Click link for full set of screenshots
thx diego.here's an update. got the blade in place and fixed up the scales and wrapping. also went over the dragon with the trim brushes after picking up some techniques from the eat3d hardsurface dvd.
Decided to go with the wrap bikini style from reference D. I saw that this one cosplayer decided to make the character more tribal so I'm going try and infuse some of that essence as well.
Hey, Glad you like them guise. @ethwaites: Yeah you're right ! I am definitely leaving the foot wraps. :) Thanks Here is my final design. And the ones that i think to consider.
Ok so for mapping that, would I still wrap the cylindrical part as a cylinder projection, and the top with the new bevel would just be a quick planar map? And each island gets one smoothing group?
Trying to wrap this up..pretty happy with the results being my first sculpted character.. I feel like ive learnt 2% of zbrush so far xD Thanks for the help @Brian, @kornetic
Z3PHON There's no inherent limit in mighty bake to the size of the UDIMs, I just thought that it was a limitation of the naming format. How do the files get named for ranges larger than 10 given the way it wraps?
Alright - that wraps it up, last one goes to daphz :) Thanks again everyone. You will all receive a PM over the next few days with all the necessary info. <3 <3 <3 P
BADASS! My main grip though is that none of the wires are sticking out, everything is super tight wired to the bat. I think it would look even better with some planes wrapped loosely around it.
