I like that better than my #2, it makes sense to keep it on the high and just swap a few maps around when baking/re-baking. Thank EQ! Helpful as always! And if anyone knows how RTT can bake bumps applied to high poly meshes, I'm all eyes! I really really hope I'm just missing a simple checkbox or work flow.
Hello! Name's Ryan, and I graduated from Animation Mentor 3 years ago. I'm currently working with a stellar group of folks on Dying Ember. I'm helping animate and rig some characters. Haven't been able to snag work in the animation industry yet. But I'm hoping to befriend some animators and help others with their…
Don't go freelance yet. Make connections on these boards. Work Hard, do competitions and make interesting stuff, You got a ways to go, but it is possible.Internships are great Junior positions would be great for you, snag em if you can. If not get a day job and work on your skills when you get home. Good luck! I look…
Coming along really nicely. I echo the above comment though. It does appear as if you have added grime for the sake of it. Research into weathering on similar buildings and look into water runs like BasicallyNormal said. I look forward to your progress. 'Tis a nice building choice :) Also... I'm pretty sure you can sort it…
I did it on the cheap for about £100 off amazon. I already had a tripod and you can just swap your lens to a cheap fisheye, you defiantly don't need another body. It just takes about 2 minutes out in the field to capture the HDRI and the processing on the computer takes maybe an hour per asset. one quick lightmap and a…
haha yeah MEL-script's documentation is pretty nice, I've found good documentation for extending Photoshop to be ridiculously rare so I'd be interested as well. I'm only using CS2 and CS3 so I'm not sure about the new CS4 stuff but aside from random blogs and sites that I'll come across I poke around the forums at…
Long time no update, so here it is I think I am ready to move onto rigging him, I have added the top which can be swapped out. I rendered him here with a very low quality vray render. I think the final I will do a render of him in vray and probably through him into Marmoset. Any way this is were I am at now.
I pretty much agree with Notorius P.I.G, just freaking talk to them. Dont know about you other guys here but Im pretty young and not looking specially for that "perfect" partner. Im telling you people, shag as much as you can while you still can. Go out have a great time and score a lot. Im 21 btw. Good hunting!
Not sure what VNC is but the bounding boxes thing is just a really anoying feature in max. Hit the 'O' key (not zero) and that should fix you up. It also sounds like when its drawing the edges of your model they are clipping into the faces being drawn. Almost sounds like a video card driver issue? Maybe try swapping…
do yo chain hang low, DAWG?! nice chainage. its lookin real good brospeh, id say add just a few more my-nute details in there tho like this: - more rust/lack of paint damage on the main valve...thingie... - maybe some clever imprinted name, like "im bent & stank sewage" those are just some thoughts, but godspeed senor.…
