hmmm i thought i already used the actorX Plugin for Max 2009 but no matter where i test it, 32bit and 64bit version don't seem to work "DLL <blabla\PlugIns\ActorX.dlu> is not made for this verion of the program - not loading" dang :( :edit: might already be solved, thanks to tinman :edit2: nope it wasn't the Service Pack :/
Yeah I think the solid suppressor is definitely the way to go with it, with groves for the "removable" end caps. IRL, end caps can normally be removed to service internals and also to swap out threading adapters for the different barrel types and threads (and also QD muzzle break designs).
Yes, the Live monthly payment option wasn't really made for bigger studios. The 1M limitation only applies to the monthly payment option though. If you choose to pay the licenses in full at purchase, there is no revenue limit and you still get access to the same services as with the monthly payments.
Those final touches you've added really make the difference - You've definitely managed to improve the readability of the materials and the material definition, really helping it pop, and the addition of more grime/dirt etc helps to sell it as an object that has seen use/service - nice job dude!

There were pay per minute & pay per hour online games prior to the monthly sub model. I remember trying to convince my mom to let me get Magestorm or one of the other early Mythic games that ran on the AOL game service that charged by the hour.
Yeah I can understand where you're coming from. I was reading through the kickstarter FAQs and guidelines and they don't really address large companies using their service. I am curious if publicly traded companies have prohibitions limiting where their funding comes from.
Probably starting with a flat plane and then extruding edges would be the quickest way to knock that out. What you've got there seems perfectly serviceable though. I don't understand what your concerns are about the modelling. Perhaps you could post up some wires shots.
