sorry buddy, but when you have 3 different displays that are 3 different brands and 3 very different levels of quality - The only way to get them to look somewhat similar is with calibrating software/hardware. -

The main thing to consider with increasing number of bones is how much will your animation data increase. Bones by themselves aren't really that expensive, but with large animation sets your animation data can really increase quite a lot. Well, if you're really trying to focus on textures, you need to show it. Right now you have like 10 sections, none of which really present texturing well.
