Nice work. I suppose most stuff has already been said. I like the bridge. After optimization and some sweet textures will make a cool piece. The silhouette turned out nicely. Good stuff thus far. Keep up the good work.
I'll just update my post to help the community. I managed to use a simple "connect" in the compound objects menu. I created two mesh objects deleted some faces then connected them, you can change the tension and segments of the bridges to make it look like stretching gum.
thanks joopson I want the frustration it will help me learn faster but Im excited to do this. I will make it my duty to get it done it may take me awhile but it will be worth it. I know i can do it though. cholden im saving that bridge for next years project
It looks pretty good man. Mostly accurate. You pretty seriously simplified a few places, especially around the orbital cavity (connection to cheekbone, connection to bridge of the nose) and I don't think the molars recede far enough into the skull. What's it for? Am i doing your homework for you?
Your doing a pretty good job macthing that up to the ref. The place is lacking doors at the moment. One on the big deck and one for the little rounded balcony. The roof of the house and the bridge are lacking some grunge but Im sure you'll be getting to that. Otherwise its coming along nicely. Good job.
if you are considering just a painter I think mudbox has personally had its day compared to substance painter and 3D coat, and I say that as someone who did love mudbox, when I couldn't get into Zbrush mudbox was my bridge, made me a better sculptor.
Why are you using the Witcher as reference? You're interpreting what another artist has interpreted, and there will be subtleties lost in translation. Some real ref here: http://pinterest.com/donnacrazylady/boulders-rocks-cliffs-caves-natural-bridges/…
I'd like a version of Kinetic for my PC so I can do keyboard shortcuts with hand gestures. Cut, slice your hand. Bridge, pinch your fingers. Someone get on that, so autodesk can get rid of this: It could even be used like a signing to text for the deaf.
I figure I'll start a thread for all my projects. That way I can help reduce clutter! Here are some things I've been working on of late. Firefly Gun: Bridge WIP: This new texture allowed me to save 115,000 tris w/o losing visual fidelity! Soda Machine Scene Sculpt:
Excuse the awful background for now. So I've decided to make the gun white ( Maybe not this white though, might be a bit too bright ), though the accessories colour's are up in the air but I guess I'll cross that bridge once I deal with the symmetry errors on the pistol grip.
