Artwork looks good, not crazy about the voice over as far as trailers go. I tend to stay away from MOBAs even though gameplay wise I like them, it's the general communities that scare me away. Never thought I'd see the day where counter-strike's community is relaxing compared to others.
I think theres parts when they are running up the tower that the camera angles are really impairing the view of the animations, in general I'd probably relax on the jarring transitions and go for some more subtle angles with less cuts. Pretty neat though, I like the idea of doing a vignette shot before showing off the…
Any Mirrored or overlapping uvs? In polygon mode, goto select inverted faces or select overlapping faces to check. Are you sure thats only 1 edge you have selected? If you have a small chamfer or an edge loop right next to another loop, try relaxing it out or manually space them before stitching.
Hey Folks, I've made some alterations to his body yesterday, getting some great feedback from Del about the best areas to have flexed and relaxed muscles. Now that I have the proportions and forms down, I can start refining. Of course the body will be hidden, but I want to learn and practice muscle definition.
Looks awesome! If you can do 3 of those in a weekend, then I would love to know a little bit more of your workflow as well!! I find very relaxing going out and taking some photos, it is really nice to forget about the computer for a while!! Very good results ;D I love them!
Hey I left a few notes but its mostly about his posing. For me, Spidey usually goes from extreme C curves to reverse C curves which you have in a few places but at certain points his body goes into relaxed poses. Great stuff overall though! Looking forward to seeing it finished :)
Amazing! Thanks Obscura! Is there a way to align uv islands in the 3ds max uv editor by like 45 or 90 degree increments (relaxing tends to rotate the islands and it's hard to get back to horizontal or vertical orientation)? Or is there a way to align the entire island based on a single row of vertices horizontally or…
Take a good look at your hands, fingers shouldn't be the same size, a lot of sculptors even pose them slightly different to give the hand a more natural/relaxed shape. But if you really insist on having the same size fingers on your hands, then making one and copying it three times sounds like the easiest way.
How confident is this character supposed to be? I love the big breathing before the exit because it makes him look like he is having it build up his courage to exit. On the other hand, the contrapasto pose (ex. F250) look quite relaxed and confident. Both are cool, but right now they don't seem to tell the same story.
Yeah I have to use Classic, I refuse to use the default view which is utterly terrible... But even with Classic view its still not amazing. It also doesn't work on the PS3, which is a bit of an arse as sometimes I like to relax in the evening in front of the TV and browse a few dailies. Total balls up IMO.
