I noticed in the 2 ref pictures posted (the drawn cartoon and the in-game snes) aren't exactly the same so I kind of pick and choose. but definetely will round up the wing tips. 16bit, can you please specify what you mean stretch it? like scale the whole thing in X direction?
A little update, spent some more time over the weekend working on figuring out how the characters should look like, then after getting a round-about idea I decided to go back and revise the direction of the assets to lean back towards a low-poly style, after thinking about how long it'll take me both to make the game and…
Motherboard: I like all the parts and specs on the motherboard, I'm not a fan of gigabyte, but it looks like they're properly shielding the audio from the network port which was the only issue I ever had with the one gigabyte board I had. That board is still functioning btw my nephew has it. The memory slots are packed…
itsartmag has got a load of nice features from the show. World Of Warcraft: Legion http://www.itsartmag.com/features/world-of-warcraft-legion/?utm_source=IT%27S+ART&utm_campaign=0fc70d327b-gamescom&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_56a625c672-0fc70d327b-187625017&mc_cid=0fc70d327b&mc_eid=936252851d The Technomancer Trailer…
i'm currently on 2600 poly's. I could probably work on the wire frame some more. The "hands" are a combination of both blades and wings, she is able to fly and kind of slice through objects with them. I'll post up some wire frames definitely. thanks for all your help so far.
I really dig that you went with a more beaked design for the dragon's mouths as opposed to a more crocodile kind of look. It makes them more unique. I always felt like hypothetically, dragons could have been an offshoot of winged dinosaurs evolving into birds and they might have serrated beaks as a result. :)
DWalker - Cool! Thanks for the feedback dude. Yeah, that image of the three characters together is definitely out of sync. All I really did was take the the three seperate characters from their concept sheet and slap them together to see what it would look like. The fairy wing tip is definitely useful, I admit I was being…
I will use viewport canvas to block in basic colors on the model, its a little lack-luster when it comes to features but it holds up pretty well as a "3D painter". Generally if I do a decent UV layout I don't have a problem using photoshop to do most of the texture work. I've worked that way for a long time so it's second…
@JLHGameArt Thanks for your comment. About the uninterrupted straight lines, I have a lighting error at this point that's why you have strange lines , but I agree with you I can add some more details. About the desk for me it's fine I made that with a real one reference but if a lot of people agree with you, I think I'm…
So I decided to just move into the block out of this model where I can elaborate a bit on the concept. I was going to finish the concept off in PS to make it more Sci-Fi, but I'm just going to use my more artistic license on the modeling portion. Before I move on, I was wondering a few thing in this whole HP to LP…
