Monopoly? There's been many competitors to Steam before Origin and uPlay, and Valve doesn't have silly clauses like "you must release exclusively here first, or you won't release here at all for a long period of time" as seen in ... some other big service.
Working fine now. I'm sure some of the issue is just the amount of traffic that runs through the contest threads, a lot of services crapped out on me when i was doing Petrol/Blood too haha. This is looking interesting! Curious as to where you'll take the sculpt.
I've had this issue before, I was able to bypass it by clicking in the explorer search box and then clicking out of it. It's weird, but it worked. I almost think it had something to do with a hotkey accidentally triggering search in explorer. Since updating to service pack 2, though, it's disappeared.
I'm pretty sure it is, I don't recall exactly but I thought Crytek made a statement about focusing on making independent F2P games along with their Gface service. They also announced a F2P MOBA called Arena of Fate, and they already released Warface which is F2P.
Hmmm...sure you couldn't shut it off in msconfig? I had a similar issues and just simply reinstalled and before that while I needed to network I turn off TrueVector Services. Then again, you mentioned this was few years back (Mine's the latest one)
Well I guess there's a difference (to me) about doing art for a living (like a job) and making a living doing art. And it kinda goes into the "can video games be art conversation". Or can ads be art? they are communicating a product or service using color theory and visual stimulation.
I think the horrible parenting, is worse than the lawsuit. Some controlling parent getting a slap on the wrist, small fine, or community service, is a LOT better than having a raging fucked up kid doing stupid shit, because he never had an outlet..
contemporary Christian music is usually pretty bad; cotemporary Christian music parodies represent some sort of unspeakable vortex... i had to close the window after 5 seconds, cause i knew it was going to be bad. just does Christianity no good service at all.
Yeah this is by far some amazing customer service and 2k just trying as much as they can to fix this situation. Sad they had to deal with all this and not celebrate this awesome release but man good going 2k. I think every studio / publisher could learn a lot from this.
