@cmc444 I think I'm going to have to rethink how Im doing the landscape material because as soon as a I add another texture sample into either a new material function or an existing one it goes to the checker board grey and can't see any so I think I've used the 16 textures I'm aloud to
1. UE4 uses 1's 5's 10's 50's 100's, they moved away from powers of 2 for some reason, UE3 was 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, etc. 3. Multiple materials means multiple draw calls, you really want to keep that number down.
that`s just total rip off , they are not playing around this time :) https://eu-store.wacom.com/Catalog/Pen-Displays Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 is 1,600 Euro and they did not include the express key remote and any stand with it, you have to buy them separately. Just for comparison the 22HD is 1,800 Euro and its with the stand and…
Well, I decided to go with some of your advice, and since you were all so encouraging, I figured why delay things any further? So the last cigarette I had was at about 10PM last night, and then around 12 I decided that was it, enough is enough! So, 16 hours in and I'm feeling good.
sorry ro derail the thread, but dropbox and google drive just don't have enough space or it costs a fortune, our last project had around 200GB raw data from over 16 artists - at dropbox that would be 15x16=240 a month. for a service that you can get for 9 dollar at dreamhost for all users together.
Hey Revic, I'm willing to help take a look if there's still time, but I can't open your Max 15 (or 16) file since I only have 2013, so if you could save off your file to the earliest Max version possible or as FBX or OBJs and upload them, I'd be happy to help if possible.
That's looking rather good but you should add a few more segments to the hatches in the wall. The second image shows it well, the hatch is segmented, to the point where I can count how many sides it has (looks like 16). Spend some triangles to smooth it out since they are quite large objects and draw the eye.
Oops. If you want the mesh to match the location of the spline, use the World Space PathDeform modifier, not the Object Space one. OS should put the spline to the mesh location, while WS does the opposite. http://docs.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/16/ENU/3ds-Max-Help/files/GUID-47EA2253-C097-434A-82AD-B13E2DE10C6C.htm
Do you have adaptive degradation toggled on? It's assigned to the O key by default. Not sure whether it's the same as the "don't degrade" option you mentioned. Max's help topic on it: http://docs.autodesk.com/3DSMAX/16/ENU/3ds-Max-Help/index.html?url=files/GUID-486136D3-3BCC-4A95-823B-3E7F9F75C2C4.htm,topicNumber=d30e11672
