Hi! Don`t want to start new thread for my problem, so will ask here: In Max 2015 SP3 Biped Motion Mixer is broken (compute mixdown will give empty animation) and only solution that I know - is to uninstall SP3. But maybe someone know another workaround with it to stay with SP3? Thanks!
Started a handpainted style cliff today in Substance Designer today. Should wrap up tomorrow. You can download the sbsar here: http://substance.arvinmoses.com/product/cliff-v-05/ Also got featured on cgchannel! Yay! http://www.cgchannel.com/2015/01/download-five-free-substance-procedural-materials/
Very much appreciated guys! I promise I'll make a breakdown and explain the main techniques, but probably after GDC! But I can already tell one of the key technique I used is this: http://www.mospheric.com/2015/01/substance-designer-street-bricks.html Thanks a lot to Josh England for having discovered this!
Looks like a great start to a first UDK environment. BTW here's a silly thing, if you use the console command SetSpeed 0.5, this'll slow down that default run speed in half (adjust to your likely), and it'll make walking around in your videos appear more natural to the scale of the environment.
Thanks for the tip, Scott! Sadly I don't have a Max license, but I figured out something similar: use Photoshop CC's 3D texture painting feature. Currently, its performance is not good enough (brush lags 0.5s - 1s). I heard Viewport Canvas has better performance though.
Thanks for the tips, Chris! I've taken both pieces of advice and have added my portfolio to my signature and also started a Polycount meetup post here: SIEGEcon 2015 Polycount Meetup Also, I really enjoyed looking through your portfolio. It's helpful to see what the local talent is working on.
Okay what i've done here is *tweaked the eyes quite allot *scaled from hips downards with 105% *bigger mask *maybe somehing im forgetting *note: The 2nd pic was taken earlier than the first.. so the face is different.. i moved the eyes in the first render a bit closer to eachother.
Apothecarist's Rite - January 2015 (i dont have an images for the diffuse so i nabbed Belkuns!! will replace later) Back to our roots of sticking flowers on things, Sunshield worked with Dotapit Series 3 to make an original set for their upcoming tournament chest. We love flowers and pink. s'all good.
That seemed to be broken for me as well in 2014. My fix was to just extrude it a very small amount in world space, then I was able to use local to extend it out further...Crappy for sure. I also ran into issues with my Gizmo becoming "distorted". Local extrude is working as intended in Max 2015, though!
Wow, I didn't know someone had taken up the mantle after this: http://www.polygon.com/comics/2015/8/17/9164977/batman-lenny-robinson-killed-accident Very nice work on the Batmobile. Looking forward to seeing some pics when they finish building the real thing based off it :)
