Added a mud texture on top, changed the colors of the rocks and painted mask painted the rocks coming out of the mud ins substance painter to break the patterns. Screen in substance designer: Screen inside marmoset:

Sculpted few modular pieces today. Planning to decimate it for low poly. Will be downloading some Megascans rock surfaces and later blending them in substance painter for rock texture.
what's the rock for? are there going to be more? if there's nothing really unique about it i'd go with tileable textures so you can use the same texture across multiple rocks

From a solid piece of rock, or maybe fired clay on wires? It looks even crazier up close... if that was sculpted from a single piece of rock, it'd be as mind-boggling than the pyramids or anything the egyptians built.
hey I really like the fur on the tail of the animal, the grass as well. I would fix the rock ( there are plenty f plp doing rocks on this sit for reference) and add more roots to the bottom of your composition.
