ya i use a similar UVing markning menu to nightshade, and changed the default shift+rmb menu to point to my own bevel, chamfer and extrude tools over the Maya ones. than i also moved the insert edge loop tool from the object marking menu to the edge one, and made a copy of the interactive spilt tool in the vertex marking… -

I think your textures look a bit too noisy in places, I would dial that back a bit. Also have some edge wear on the sections that extrude out of the wall, currently its really noticeable that you are just tiling a texture across all your surfaces..you want to avoid that as much as possible. Yes you can export with modifiers such as shell or turbosmooth. But you'll want to make sure you uncheck isoline display in turbosmooth so you export proper subdivided geometry. I've now started blocking out the main body of the bike. I started by using EP Curves shaped around the main body and then lofting them. After that I converted the NURB surface to a Polygon, added some edge loops, cleaned up a bit and extruded some edges to make the underside and to shape up the nose. I'll update some more… -
