the main difference of RAM in consoles and PC stuff is that the driver might do more shadowing of textures. That is textures are inside Video RAM AND regular RAM. Reason for that is that mostly PC hardware is made to run "anything" so even if your scene uses more texture memory then your card has, the driver will swap out… -

Yeah but theres only 3 models, if there were 20 models then maybe your way would be better (I still want everything to load at once) I hate thumbnails, too many clicks aaggghhhh. I think everyones page should have an option for no thumbnails. Also 2 of the images are around 1 meg, I know everyones got high speed internet… -

Looking amazing, love the design. The bigger back legs look good for swimming but the upper leg muscle just looks to big for the body its connected to i think. Also im going to have to agree with other people on those front legs. While you've added some menacing in a way, i think your also taking away from it in another.… -

Very nice start! It may just be the angle the shots are taken from but depending on how much his arms are bent, they may be too short. The insertion point on the bicep also looks a bit odd, like it should narrow off a bit earlier. The upper leg is too thick/wide. The Vastus Lateralis is also covered by the Ilotibial Band… -

You can actually get away with a single uv layout for both layers. Make an atlas layout, no overlaps, all inside the uv square. Use it as-is for your bakes (normal, masks, ao). Tiled textures can have their own per-texture transforms which make them tile across the atlas. You can align the uv islands in the atlas layout…
