I would like to say congratulations! I checked out your portfolio when you had the review thread active, and really like what you had. Go to the 96th/97th floor of the John Hancock building, and get yourself a celebratory cocktail!
Thanks, yeah, i have been looking at the face thinking, why doesn't it look right?? i think its just one of those cases of looking at it too much and not noticing. Will work on that after i'm finished remaking the jacket for like the 5th time >_<
9th Knight: thank's man! alexd: glad you enjoy it! Game mesh done! Ended up being about 4905 tris. here is my first bake. Gotta fix a few things and its off to a quick texturing with Quixel and integrating it in game.
I've recently finished A Dance With Dragons and now I'm working my way through the Wheel of Time series :) Currently on the 4th book, The Shadow Rising So far I love the story :P although much more light hearted than ASOIAF
Thanks guys! I'm glad you like the lighting. I'll be working on the floor, since a friend of mine said everything looks "floaty" as if it's floating above the floor (this is especially evident in the 4th pic). Other than that, I think I'm close to calling this done. :)
I think it lookso tight! Right now it doesn't look very 1920s. I think you might have lost something when you decided against clothes. athe this point the only art Deco is gonna come from his environment
I was only able to work on this over the weekend. I am trying to push through and keep on practising, posting all the crap work and hopefully I will see some improvements later on after my nth character. Update for this week: * Worked on the clothes and face.
currently working a Morphling set. Ran out of ideas at some point but now i'm back on it. Still have to polish the existing pieces and trying to figure out how i want the 5th one (misc). I was hoping to make a tail-ish thingy
I laughed. More than I thought I would. Funniest satire since 'Hardware Wars', and the advertising message works pretty well. Reminds me of stuff I came up with in 5th grade. "He's more chemical than vegetable now!"
Damn this program is starting to looking appealing. The hard surface work here looks more efficient than with Zbrush. I'm probably gonna raise the 7th level of hell for stating that but I could never get really good results doing HS on Zbrush.
