I gave it a try. Script will have sense if library will contain ~50 truly adjustable assets. Then I could pay for it. Maybe use Houdini engine? -

It's used as a masking function on specularity. So it is really a cavity map. Anything above 50% grey gets extra highlights everything below gets AO. -

A good practice. For flat rate projects, 50% down, then rest when completed (or milestone). Clients I have had for a long time are 10%~20%.
