Hey guys, I just installed theOnion version 1.75 on 3ds Max 2009 sp1, on XP64 and works fine. Are you sure you got the latest version, rewritten with dotNet? Previous ones made use of ActiveX and don't work anymore, at least on 64 bits systems.
I'm pretty sure that this videocard is not supported. its from 2009 and has 512mb to 1 gb vram versions. It also doesn't support dx 12 so no reason installing it. Not sure what you are expecting from such an old pruduct. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-210.c2020
Ha awesome! Nice find! As for the bug report you can enter 000 0000000 into the serial number its what the trial version is set to use until you activate it. Honestly I think you can type any garbage in there and it would accept it, I don't think it checks it.
got the same problem, and your computer blows mine out of the whatever 4gig ram 64bit amd athlon 2.1ghz ati mobility hd5145 I guess this is a good a time as any to do what I always do to my friends, promote Maya 2009!!!:) (or earlier even!)
i seemed to have found a weird, easy, solution... if i import my model into max, exprt it, then re import back into MAX then exprot from max into zbrush. I dont know why but it works... apparently it works for max 2009 with its export probelms too... Thanks for the responses!
Actually I was hoping to get 2010 behave like 2008. I hate 2009 but your 3ds clean makes it more intriguing now. Last time I used '09 it was so slow. Still on the fence because it sounds like polyboost can't be installed with your 3ds clean?
Lookin great so far man, keep at it! I think the area above the trigger looks kinda bland in comparison to what the film prop actually looks like, but I can see thats a difference in the concept. http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs46/f/2009/231/7/a/arc_gun_from_district_9_by_deamon88xyz.jpg
