the ugly playermodels of hl1 never stopped the game from selling great.. the level tech of l4d didn't either .. guess it's that bit of "great games" what is doing the magic :) look at portal and tell me people are not hungry for robots singing about cakes. tech is not everything. -

Aha, thank you pior! While screwing around, I thought about a more manual approach, having already forgotten about the magic of chamfering. Vig: I meant a literal curve in the geometry. Perhaps 'bend' may have been a better choice of words. -

Well I'm going for fallout like universe but hmm... with apocalypse happening like 100 years before fallouts, and with some magic and alchemy thrown in for a good measure :) Pretty happy it has that feel about it before I added fallout like wear and tear to it. Thanks. -

http://www.selwy.com/2009/zbrush-clothes-tutorial/ Should have the brushes he uses as well. At the end of the day, it's going to come down to reference material and undertanding how folds work. There is no magic brush that will paint in your folds. I hope my links helps. -

im sorry to bring the bad news, but after garriola mentioned it, I checked it in photoshop and its clearly stretched (photoshop magic) "It fits the plane I used" you mean you put the texture on and it was perfectly displayed on it right ? Its disorted to fit on the plane actually -

Anybody has some information about when some of the heroes will be added to the workshop importer? Tried to fins some information, but only found a sinlge thread about it on the dotdev forums, but no answer there yet.. Maybe Tvidotto can work his magic and talk to Valve about it? :) -

I'm sorry, I didn't save the model. I don't have wire shots. I just made the entire shape as if there was no diagonal cut and then cut one in once it was the major forms smoothed nicely. Simple retopologizing and cutting in support loops from there. Nothing magical :) -

There is no real magic bake methods when using organics really it is just masking and setting up multiple layers and blending them. I will however make sure we add a skin video to our list of videos that we would like to create. Great suggestion! -

Another Schoolproject Task was to rewrite a short story http://www.english-for-students.com/The-Magic-Pot.html and make the Previz for that fictional Project (Storyboard, Characters, Environment/Props). Have to deliver tomorrow so expect an update later on. Wish I would have more time for this :P. -

So I was born premature, about died and so did my mom. So I guess the doctor should have just thrown in the towel, and let me die, as I wasn't yet a "child"? Life begins at conception, not at a "magical" moment during labor.
