Here is an update. Got the smoothing groups worked out and the character unwrapped. Tomorrow I think I will rig him and start on the texture. I have a gaming laptop and the specs you wrote sound petty good. Maybe just check your graphics card with the requirements for Substance. The SSD is twice the size of mine so I get away with installing big apps like UE4 on the HHD. works fine. The only thing I would add is a 17 inch screen as a minimum. I use a wacom comic… -
