Right now I have the lightmap res at 256 and in my lightmap unwrap I have no overlapping uv's. Where I'm having the problem there is no break in the unwrap. Any suggestions? Hi I've been playing around with UE4 and I relatively recently discovered lightmaps (new to engines) and I had already imported a lot of my assets. Is there a way to make a lightmap in Maya and attach it to the mesh already imported? And is there a way to change the already assigned UV's for the textures? Thank you
I've used flatiron before, it's ok. So I'm assuming lightmap Atlases are just the lightmaps themselves? I never heard the world Atlases used with lightmapping, that's why I asked. I thought it was something special.
