Isn't one of the defining characteristics of Baba Yaga her house on a chicken leg that hops around? Maybe instead of a cauldron, she could be riding a platform/hut/chicken leg, haha :) I like the top right color scheme - or the bottom right if the first is too muted. Nice idea!
The head makes it look very weird. I don´t know if you plan to go from a realistic study into a cartoonstyled body. The head is very stylized and all proportions are shifted, so you would expect the body to have the same characteristics.
Me think the arse could use a little bit of rounding as she is wearing rather skimpy clothes. Her fingers could also use a little bit of more length as that's a fair characteristic of female hands. Then push her bosoms a little higher.
Cool, u have catch nice german characteristic thing, blue eyes and angry mimic. Really like the chosen race. Maybe this black color u shoud brighten a bit ' cos u losing the details IMHO. Grat work anyway.
Wow Dave sweet 2D work. I love looking at all the different surface types in them, you've captured their characteristics very well. The machine concepts are neat, I also wish we could see more of the machine connected to that cockpit!
I see you make progress, but I would suggest you to do some work on face proportions to give the face a more characteristic look. Even "simple" characters like in Final Fantasy (I assume it's the look you're going for) have strong facial proportions that reveal their character, mood and such.
That was fantastic. Hilarious. My favourites are Blade and Bro in Black. I really love how you're nailing the weapon characteristics. Edit: Love the original art style, but can't wait to see the new stuff, all moving and covered in gibs. Are you laying the levels out by hand, or is it procedural? More please!
I feel like most tree stumps have a very characteristic gradual transition between the main trunk and the roots. Yours has a harsher break, which I think could benefit from being smoothed out (please forgive the crappy drawing)
I went in thinking the asura were my least favorite race. After playing with them they became my favorite. Goes to show some funny characteristics and good animation can really sell a race. Those walking salads on the other hand....oof
Pissed me off when airbrush and paintbrush got consolidated into one tool, with flow settings controlling the airbrush characteristics. This destroyed the ability to quickly toggle between a hard edged brush (formerly B) and a soft edged airbrush (formerly J) with a single keystroke.
