Obviously not all of them but one problem Japan did have last gen (and maybe still does) was how badly they adapted to shaders. Even now with their handheld games, you rarely see some kind of normal mapping that isn't by Capcom.
Yeah, i started noticing more of a batman resemblance, thanks for reinforcing it so I don't have to worry about ripping off capcom. Still need a bit of input on the design, thinking about making that hole his mouth or something. Dunno.

Oooh, I absolutely love Capcom's fighting game chicks, so I will most definitely be keeping my eyes peeled on this thread! As it happens I'm working on a Cammy model myself, please check it out if you're interested :) (link in my sig)
Even here in Japan, there is no Sega (Sonic Racing and MegaDrive classics only). Hardly any Capcom. Looking on Amazon Japan has found some awesome deals on games that are not available through Origin or Steam. I am sure there has to be an equivalent in Korea too.
Capcom is rather wishywashy on the issue, they're saying they'll port it to everything they can get their hands on. Considering noone has announced anything regarding the "Revolution" yet it's not farfetched to assume these's some very strict NDA in place. Besides, RE4 didn't doom the Xbox.
The first announcements are starting to appear from Gamescon, the most interesting of which is a new IP from Capcom and developer Dontnod called Remember Me. It's a cyberpunk third-person shooter that revolves around the abilities to capture of peoples thoughts and memories and to alter them for ones own purposes. It looks…
I assume you're talking about PAX? No that wasn't Torchlight, but i can see why you mistook it, the style is somewhat similar. I believe that game was called Death Spank. Torchlight was actually in a smaller booth immediately to the right of the front entrance of the Capcom booth.
Vigil and Volition are suuuuper talented studios.. I know a lot of japanese publishers are trying to get a better foothold in the Western game market..maybe now is their chance to get a great established studio and a better foothold, kind of like what Capcom did with Blue Castle Games.
Fucking beautiful! I wish I had such great quality miniatures from my fav games when I was a kid! Did you do everything from scratch? I would sure love to get my hands on some capcom texture files, mmmmmm.
