He needs a lot more inquisitorial rosettes and skulls to be a 40k inquisitor. I also am not really a fan of the way you have his mouth; it looks almost comical, a look an Inquisitor in 40k would likely never have on his face.
Orangeknight : Looks kinda creepy, haven't seen the episode though :) some more work, playing around with the idea of a subtle skull poking through the hood, also started to implement the changes to the body to be more bonier. Gonna have to nail the head first.
looks great so far dude :) maybe look at the skull shape as it looks pretty high at the moment and ear placement, they look a bit far back if you imagine a hairline, I hope you do a McMullet version ;) great stuff man
idk if this is a big deal but the pose with him opening his mouth looks like it'd have to stretch his skull significantly. the hinge between the jaws should probably go up higher... But idk if you plan to show it on your folio or anything
Had to throw together something slightly more complete looking put up on the pledge manager. It's fast and dirty, but it gets the idea across and it made me realize I need a candle on the skull t balance the lighting, so that should be fun to draw.

Wow! As Lutzbot already said, this thread is already looking amazing :dizzy: Here's a Femshep Portrait I did last week. It's my first digital portrait ever I think Really diggin' that Mech Daven, the skull looks really cool in there.
Don't take this the wrong way but straight off the bat I can see a ton of anatomical inaccuracies even with the skull alone. If your doing this as a guide for other artists then this really needs to be very high level, get some beefy reference man.
Moby Francke, DotA tinker concept and the skull that @abidus posted...for something different from what I have done before.....but I think next month I will try the environment challenge...let's see If I can work here too
This will be a (hopefully) long-ish running thread where I update the scene as I can. It's meant to be an excercise in learning more about ZBrush and getting a decent hand painted look to the assets. I don't have any reference for this so as a result I'm just sort of noodling around - which may come back to bite my ass,…
