Heres a WIP - My first low poly - Well its not that low poly. http://i41.tinypic.com/5xvj89.jpg EDIT: please try to keep under the 500 tris limit, thanks
Heavy WIP, still trying to nail a look. I'm gonna remove the tile outlines, they make it look too segmented and only emphasize the tiling, making it look boring. any crits so far?
Crepator- nice one FreshDumbledore- good job. I agree with vrav about the screenshots. maybe fix that little seam in the face also. wip. bit poly heavy.. but its more for texture practice.
Long time lurker..like really long..I just love this thread to bits! so I have a little model I made for fun..Its a WIP 620tris right now..and the texture is 256x256
WIP study of some techniques used in Final Fantasy XII textures wires: textures: rigged up (test) tris:420 textures: 128x128, 64x128 It's cute, it's green, I have no idea what the hell it is.
Hi there! :3 It's my (WIP) female character for indie game called "world_null". If interested u can see more info about our project here > indie-games.rocks (ง ื▿ ื)ว
these are around 1500 tris each. The cockpits themselves arent that poly intensive, most the detail is in the mechanisms of the machineguns. Without guns, tricounts are more like 800. all WIPs unfortunately. Research is a killer time consumer
I agree. I believe two separate pics would be more 'easy' on the eyes... Oh well, NO more WIP (cough). She Done... [for now] *edit - added one more gif just for the heck of it
So as an exercise, I tried some box modelling without a concept. This is a WIP model of a strong guy I wanted to do. The model clocks in at 600 tris even so far. Any crits are welcome. :)
Saker, this thread is really for finished low-poly (~500 triangles or less) models. Your character is WIP and subdivided, so you would probably get more help if you started your own thread.
