So here is a sculpt in clay I did last night for fun. I have not used clay so this really was eye opening for me. I did 90% from memory. Here are some sketches I did previously to further help understand the female figure also.
Did some material studies in Unreal for class, having a lot of fun figuring out the materials and the functions they can do. These all need some more love but hopefully they will look nice once i have them on the character I am working on. Lemme know ur thoughts.
With Easter coming tomorrow, I wanted to introduce the newest DiddleBugs friend, Rita the Rhino! Their official Facebook page Facebook.com/DiddleBugsToys has garnished a lot of attention, and has quickly become an expanding online community. Check it out if you get a chance and feel free to join in the fun!
The quality level is rising here! Turbo that I´m currently working on. I don´t even know why I started this but so far it has been a fun project. Trying much simpler workflow this time. Textured in default Photoshop CS6 and rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 2.
@Swizzle: Looks awesome man. @Vanlogan: Love those colors, can't wait to see the end result. Just finish this. Painting is a lot of fun but I should move on to another project =]. Check out the Marmoset Viewer link on Artstation here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/owl-post-office
Some models I did from the recent game Toy Soldiers: War Chest. Learned a lot when working on them, had even more fun doing some old-school toys. These were some of my my favroties. Base for the first two done by Nick Capra :)
This stuff I worked just for fun, during free time at work. . . . based on this image. I continue this is I have time to spare :) Link: https://cdn0.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/001/439/712/large/seung-kwon-ahn-3.jpg?1446467836 Thanks for looking!
Made this roof tile material tonight in Substance. Modelled in Max but textured from scratch in Designer. This was a fun material to make and I got a couple of generic materials out of it; terracotta ceramic, and a mossy material. For my City 17 scene: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=156228&page=2
Found an old model from a couple of years ago I never finished, decided to finish it up as a little fun exercise whilst I'm between scenes. Still got a lot left to model but it's getting there. Might make this a part of a new scene I had in mind a few years ago.
Doing a bit more work on my HL2 apartment scene! Fun stuff. Textured everything so far just in Substance Designer. Moving on to using Painter for stuff after an incredible demonstration by NicholasW at work today! I've made a thread here: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2337117#post2337117
