Nick Carver, that thing looks so sweet. Can't wait till the driver gets the full 3D pass :) Been working on a Wildstar Moody, and gave his hands some love today. Next up are the feet and the ornaments. He also still needs the good old gradient :p
Ravenslayer: damn dude you are improving really fast, sick stuff Nitewalkr: Love it man, really cool design Got some free time so i resumed the work on the old guy i was doing, just some quick polypaint so still tonnes of work to do.
Battlecow: I care :D thats looking ace...the hud reflection in the visor is a little too distracting at the moment I think but still, great stuff. I grabbed an old mesh and put a Parka on him in marvelous designer today, added a little thickness, but still to do cleanup and details.
Such awesome going on here. I marmoset'd an old Ghibli Art Jam piece I made. I did a turntable video but the compression is kinda bleh. Not super great at the video stuff. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UdeWhWR8Ps"]Spirited Away Polycount art jam fan piece - YouTube[/ame]
...*Ahem* 3D Art Showcase & Critiques. The old name was Pimping and Previews. Just to clear that up so you know where to post. :poly124: But yeah, WAYWO is basically the thread people just scroll through and look at pretty art on. If you want feedback, you want to make your own thread.
I think you're completely right, I'd like to go back tomorrow and give it another go. In fact the legs shape overall was much better, more curvy on the lower legs. In retrospect, I like the fur overall more on the old character than I do on the new. Thanks for your feedback, Neox!
With the release of the Remastered version of The Last of Us, I just decided to go back on this old piece of mine, Just for a little while and have some fun :) It was also made for the T-shirt contest to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Naughty dog. You can learn more on my thread along with couple of other screenshot :)
Oh hi there cyber-wonderer! I've revisited my old school's project and added things that I couldn't before due to time restrains; Rendered in V-ray; Want to turn it into LP and put it into UE4, then most likely kill myself. Thank you very much. More shots are on my portfolio site.
Finished highpoly sculpt for polycount character challenge, going to do a lowpoly now. 'Cause of my old hardware i couldn't go higher with the polys on my sculpt, guess it's time to buy new one. :( but i am quite happy for my first try on doing a character. :D Comments and critiques are welcomed.
I decided to take a break from environments and focus on individual props. I found some really good reference for an old gas canister and thought it would make for a great project. I'm planning on taking this into ZBrush to flesh out some of the larger details, then bring it into ddo if I can actually get it working...
