@YBourykina Thank you! Hearing this from you means a lot to me! :) I love that character of yours. Actually I love every piece of yours, I am already stalking you at artstation ^ ^ @chemotoledo I really loved your stuff <3
Kumator I really love that gun! The textures are awesome! Keep up the great work! And BTW I agree with Sweetangel. I think less contrast in tileables textures is better, because it will be easier to see the character as main focus in the scene then (if he has higher contrast).
Incredible work in this thread! So much of it in one place! I have a couple questions: Can I assume that the posed character renders have already been rigged? Or do you model them like that? Also, if these are hand painted textures, what are the alternative methods of texturing?
Here's a 3D scene I created today, based on the game jam project my team worked on a few weeks ago. I tried to combine some hand-painted texturing on the characters with the overall simple low-poly background environment. Sketchfab: https://skfb.ly/6IUAY
Here are some low-poly characters I created over the summer, intended to be used in a MOBA-type of game. [sketchfab]33d297abcf834d72840980af059e253d[/sketchfab] Hireling V1 by MMKH on Sketchfab [sketchfab]bc54d8f1f72f4a26a61989c28b0a104c[/sketchfab] Hireling V2 by MMKH on Sketchfab…
Very cool stuff everyone! Each time you all post the better and better you all are getting :D. I wrapped my new Gumroad video based on texturing metal and a little bit of cloth for characters. Check it out if you're interested! www.gumroad.com/turpedo
couple things from this year... Freelance: (Just rendered this out for this thread actually, been sitting on my h.d. :) ) (I made the character and composite here, not the environment) Just made this and edited my post, so I'm not spamming the thread: Personal: Turn Table: http://vimeo.com/61412746
