God of war looks awesome. This last of us game play. the visuals are good, no doubt. But, I laugh becase it is not as good as the first trailer. "realtime footage" does not mean the game looks like that.....
Thanks guys! Ahh i c, thanks Earthquake QUESTION :: Can Marmoset2 take advantage of multiple GPU's for realtime rendering? In other words will SLI/crossfire rigs render scenes faster?
check out Change Handlers and Callbacks for maxscript enables you to drop the revert button and get realtime updates dont know if its worth it though since it ll introduce a lot of codework
I read in a couple places they are touting its all in engine stuff. probably rendered out from the engine like the did their cinematics in uncharted 2 but still for realtime art, super impressive.
the point of toolbag is that it's a higher fidelity version of rendering techniques you see in current realtime games. saying you want an "actual" game engine ... what do you think is the meaningful difference?
don't expect fast realtime 3d, but zbrush isn't 3d and will run well. i wouldn't even try marmoset on my surface pro 3 ^^ its only an intel graphics chip
Looking forward to it. Place like this is gonna want some beautiful realtime GI and a nice day/night cycle to show it off :D The columns don't seem to taper like yours in the reference.
whatever looks good, don't limit yourself to realtime engines, just keep in mind that by the time you launch unreal ed, you have your model imported and set up in marmoset
Pior, this is without any normalmap, this is the shading from the vertexnormals themselves, with a flat surface, but using realtime "pretty" gourad shading with specular. even if you baked a highpoly beneath this, it would still tilt it.
Update: im tweaking on this, but still very far from getting realtime i uploaded the code and exe too, but i wouldnt look at it , at the moment its a mess and here is the typical teaser pic
