absolutely the best tip is to use FBX instead of OBJ.. this was the breakthrough here!! great tool!! :thumbup:

For xnormal, export the obj with the maya presets, it usualy helps. And check that your uvs are welded and not screwed :)

Copy and paste it in notepad and save it as a .obj. Dropbox does that, you have to zip it for it to be the actual file

shouldn't it just be place the hat at the bust top, reset x-form and export selected as obj?

i had similar problems. it solved easy , i just export model to obj , and then reimport

Be sure to use 12 digits on the OBJ exportation, and Relative vertex numbers OFF. Good luck

you need to clone the obj, and slap the wireframe mat on it, then it'll have the apperance of the wire and shade
