The FBX importer is a bit wonky in UDK. The collision definitely requires a UCX_ prefix, but what follows is uncertain. Sometimes it works with a suffix of the object name, sometimes it doesn't. I usually just end up calling them UCX_001, 002, etc - and that works fine. It seems buggy.
I honestly don't know what the issue could be, mind setting up textures, model and scene in folder and pming them to me, 2009, 2011 and 2012 are the versions I tested on, so either one of them should be fine. I'm sorry for all the trouble peeps!
pretty interesting, I'm messing with it now. It seems he developed it in max 2011, it's very buggy in 2009. It's an encrypted MAXscript so there's no way to tweak it to fix errors. Also kind of wish the brick generator would lay things out so the maps you bake tiled.

Looking very good, I'm making a little Tomte want to build him a house? :pleased: They live in little cabins like this one, in either case the house is looking very nice. https://cdn1.cdnme.se/cdn/7-2/373353/images/2009/cu3_65969314.jpg
Only thing I wonder about is the "20 039" on the side of the cylinder, a unique detail like this would mean you would need some kind of case in the animation cycle to get it to show only every sixth shot. Looks freakin' ace like usual man.
lol chris, awesome ;) metalliandy, good suggestion and your avatar scares the hell out of me. As for getting a mesh shot of the bushes - no go. I have to wait until I get home as I was having licensing issues at work for Max 2009.. grr.. Thanks everyone.
got the same probs in mal 2009 too - already tried it. :/ anyone got a good idea how to solve this or knows a good "hand selection" script? tried the ones i found on scriptspot - one didnt work and the other only works with 4 fingers and one thumb.
For those puzzled by "gamut" and "color-profiles". http://www.artstorm.net/journal/2009/07/color-management-wide-gamut-dell-2408/ Also sorts out do's and don't when it comes to what monitors/programs that can show correct colors(very few apps can).
I think this is because max can't properly display multiple UV channels on the same model. So if any of your maps are set to a different UV channel than the others, the viewport will only be able to render one of them properly. Still happens in max 2009 btw. :(
