Forgot to post my 4th day for #3December! A gravestone from one of my concepts: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/nDvze Thanks for checking it out. There is a bit of an error on the back in sketchfab. Due to time constraints I'll go back and fix some of these things after December :) model
Thanks Jarkis! I know the eyes are the hardest part for me... And I totally agree about the hair, that is honestly laziness and time constraints on my part. Here is another quickish' one from me tonight, just a little cap before my vacation next week.
I think in an actual production environment, it's easier to start with a low poly (at least a proxy) to ensure joint locations and such are properly placed (Most characters in games share rigs), along with all kinds of other technical type constraints. Seams, shared vertex order, etc. etc..
thanks guys. I got FBX 2009.3; everything seems to work if I bake the animations. but if I don't the constraints from max doesn't export. But I have some free time on my hands and I'm buckling down and learning how to rig and animate with Maya.
No you cannot, as all of the deformations are controlled solely by Bone rotation alone. The engine at one time supported Moprh targets, but IT's complcated and involved scripting. For character, it's sleletal bone control, and that's it. However you can bake the simulations in using dynamics and constraints to drive bone…
Todays progress went really well. I have quite a bit of texturing left, but Im feeling really comfortable with my time constraints. [SKETCHFAB]4b491c8bed4845b99596f10edf80de1d[/SKETCHFAB] Let me know what you think, I'm going to keep trucking =D
Almost done just need to add a few bolts. Been having a bitch of a time with the front dome of the scope. I cant seem to get rid of this side pinch. Usually I use the planar constraint option in Max to cover stuff like this up, but is there another way?

I am 90% done with the batmobile, I just need a add a few small parts to it and then start UVing it. I am just disappointed with a few a details I have to leave behind due to time constraints.
This is why I love the people on Poly Count! Thanks pixel! I shall find out what the constraints are and beat this! xD I'll try a quick wooden crate and see how it goes Cheers dude :D
