This is how they get people to spend 20-50% extra on components that they dont necessarly need. Its the same with those 'gaming' notebooks with i7 processors. Overkill and waste of money:)
And obviously some would go way way way lower than that... I know some that ask for $50 per project... Obviously the quality gonna be totally different.
Is is just me or this looks way overpaid? I mean it is great for us but even the average 50 000$ sounds like a ton of money... Or maybe I got exploited.
how does the multiply and highlight in one map work, are you just doing 50% grey and multiplying low values, and adding high? and doing nothing with mid grey?
I had no idea that diesel-punk was even a genre, (seems a bit to gimmicky) but I love the concept, and the fact the computer looks like a 50's convertable on a desk.
Thanks for the insight. I did look at Turbosquid's fees and the 50% fee did seem a little too much. I will take a further look at the Unreal Marketplace thanks.
Personally I like having the visual feedback for vector 1s, because it reminds me that .5 in linear space is not 50% grey on a monitor. That's just me though :P
If you replay a mission you'll only get 50% money the second time, 75% the third time and so on.. Here's my character. Not the brightest image though :D
