Sadly, just because they're external, doesn't mean they're any more durable, normally less so. Unless they're memory drives they still have moving parts that can easily fall out of alignment, break or wear out. The more portable you make it, the more prone to fuck ups it is. well you can either normal map the lids and eye balls which will give a good look, or model it. I think your wrong about the eyes taimaishu, the eye size is ok. If anything the eyes are to small. The iris is to big thats for sure. I would recommend showing the tank for a much shorter amount of time. The text should show up quicker, don't make the viewer wait to see what your saying.
