The projects look very interesting, but it's very hard to tell what parts of them were done by you. I think the folks above me already pointed this out, but it doesn't hurt to reiterate: simplify this layout. Only pick your best projects and make it super-super-clear which parts were your responsibility. some of the work…
there's a very long list of things that could have gone wrong. but none of them are the skinning part. see if it works with 4 or 5 bones in a chain, if not there's probably a transform somewhere that's upset
Okidoki! I was learning CE3 a while back and saw this on the Crydev wiki. I got kinda exited and wanted to recreate it. The hard part is to make the sculpt tile, or well it's not but it's not very obvious at first. So when I figured out that the wrapmode in ZB would actually work with a rectangular shape to it was just…
Thanks! I'm not 100% sure yet, part of me wants to go full on comic book background with flames and embers and stuff and another part wants to have a nice crisp realistic set of renders like a very good figurine. I do intend to pose her a bit first though, she does look like a default toy action figure pose at the moment…
the problem with moving the iris alone is. I did not set it up that way. when I want to move each I do even in 3d. I separate the eye into 3 parts for independent movement. but for this one. I went with a single sphere for each eye. movement is done by bone animation. but the eye is changing shape despite being bone…
Today I've been working on the torso. I did this by creating loops around core places (breast, shoulder and arm), and then connecting the parts. Here is a WiP: After connecting all the parts, I only have the breast left, but I'm waiting to do it just a bit. Now I extruded the arms, and added some edge loops for definition.…
Trying some retopolgy might help because the topology does not fit the wish to connect those parts. Also if there would be some loops around the eyes as suggested by multiple tutorials for good topology then indeed it would be very easy to connect those because the loops would align to the circular eye lid topology. But…
@landsknecht ,thanks alot man !! i changed the left arm cause i find its not matching the perspective, this part actually makes me struggle T~T cause i skip the tighter sketch part and rush to the color. also experiment on new workflow for this piece so alot of trial and error XD basically it doesnt look right XDD sorry…
@bjporter thanks a lot! The space-backdrop is an image from wikipedia shifted to blue (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milky_Way#/media/File:Milky_Way_IR_Spitzer.jpg) @Tzur_H have seen the seam before uploading, thought its still a w.i.p. , but thx for noticing! As i said, im playing with the colors and stuff, i'm on your…
It sounds you had the luck/bad luck of sharing your house with some real party students. That's good if you're like them but one can get tired of it really quickly. I suggest you check out a few different places and see if any of them fit you. As you probably already know the rent cost isn't the only essential matter here.…
