Looking good so far. I do think you might be pushing the nasolabial folds a bit too much though (at least for an idle facial expression, they would be ok when he grins/smiles).

I actually just finished building my new desk a couple weeks ago. MDF, ikea legs, and some 3d pre viz goes a long way! Edit: Sorry the pics a little blurry :(
Hey guys! A recent family death set me back on this contest a lot. Idk if I'll finish in time but I'm definitely going to do my best to finish as much as I can. Here's an update!
His left arm seems too idle. Rest it on his hip or have him holding a hammer or somethig. Right now he just looks like he's awkwardly posing for a photo. It's just sitting there...
Skew maps are just masks that tells the baker to use a non average normals in that part where you painted (idk if that's exactly it, thought it makes your normal not distorted in that part where you have masked).
More action poses are a must! too much idling! Cheers medestruit - gotta love filter render noise for that sexy grain look! Moar doodles and a study... was tryin to apply some tings ya mon~
