I made Van Gogh's Bedroom in Arles with Lego Digital Designer. Lego is my all-time favourite toy! As a grown-up I satisfy my urge by assembling IKEA furniture :p A couple of days ago I found something called LDD is existed! You should try it, if you are into Legos. -

These are Ikea lampshades that are made up of a about a dozen repeated shape cutouts. Find the instruction manual for it and you should see the shapes that need to be modeled. Model them flat, then bend them into place. I would recommend against boolean-ing anything here as that will cause a whole lot of unnecessary work. -

Update: Attempted to see if it autoloaded. Checked the Maya plugins manager. My plugins manager would not open. I isolated the problem to the prefs/windowPrefs.mel file and replaced it with a default one. After looking at the file in notepad, it SHOULDN'T harm any of my custom tools or settings... right?
