the curves feel real linear, ruins any sense of action cos it feels slow and robotic - wants an iteration there and it'll feel much nicer. -

No. Large amount of time spent does not = convoluted In fact it can be the inverse ;) Things are simplified and streamlined over time and iterations. Most definitely true. -
