Looking really good. I feel like your dagger texture feel a little too noisy. Dota's style is a bit more clean and painterly. I think the sculpt looks great though. Hope you are still working on this set :)
Team buddies. Hell. Yes. that game desperately need to be either re released or remade. good progress with the hand painted stuff! keep pushing it and look at the environment art in dota, league of legends and wow for reference. their stuff is inspiring to say the least.
I ended up chatting with Jettatore and it turned out to be a Normal Map problem xD. And yea I agree about the wood only thing is that you can hardly notice it when it's zoomed out like a normal dota game would be.
Another idea for the idea bucket. 4 legged friends. Item for heros that either walk on 4 legs, or use a mount that has 4 legs. Also maybe a more broad category, Workshop Least picked. Pool of 5-10 heros with the least amount of items in workshop/ dota store
You need to try and transition your tones from darker with less contrast at the bottom to lighter with high contrast at the top. This is a fundamental style adopted by many games in the league genre such as dota 2. However fantastic work and i'm sure you've put a few people off entering lol.
I don't know, maybe its because its more of the same which I don't mind. I've been having tonnes of fun with Dota 2 and just stopped playing shoot many robots which was really addicting with friends and loot. Also the humble bundle is always awesome.
Thanks everyone! Never expected it to be such a success on the workshop! With that said, it has been featured in Dotacinema top 5 (week 95)! [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJwV-r29pLM&index=1&list=UUNRQ-DWUXf4UVN9L31Y9f3Q"]Dota 2 Top 5 Workshop - Week 95 - YouTube[/ame]

Well I backed. Also this is another great chance to get some revenue and show off your work, like Dota or TF; But the project needs to make it's money first. It's not doing well at the moment and it would be a massive wasted chance if it wasn't backed.
I think it would help promote more 2D/3D collaborative projects (Maybe expand for animation too, although I can imagine that community might be a lot smaller. Would be a great way to find people to work on joint DOTA projects with).
