Working much better. One thing I did discover though is if you go to options while playing, and choose full screen, it doesn't go to full screen. It tells me it's enabled, and it was, but not until after I closed the game and started it again.
Gauss, its not nonsensical. Its a texture and it is mega, I fail to see how you miss the logic. The future plan is to make some optimazations so it can be renamed a TURBOMEGATEXTURE but these optimations may come in two stages to enable it to be eventually called a HYPERTURBOMEGATEXTURE.
Thanks for trying it and finding those bugs @Mech_Addict. I Really do appreciate it. I must have completely missed testing the mirror tools. And thank you for the links to those other scripts. Looks like I'm gonna have to try them out. I've fixed Straighten Line with even enabled (maya 2023). Gonna look at the mirror tools…
I would like my niagara gpu particle to collide with landscape mesh, and so far I haven't been able to do it with gpu distance field mode, only depth buffer mode works. I checked the mesh distance field visualizer and indeed it is black in the buffer for landscape: is there any way to enable mesh distance field generation…
Idk it feels like there arent any self reflections but in some places i can clearly see the model being reflected correctly. Maybe it has to do with the way toolbag does SSR. Is GI enabled both diffuse and specular?
For your first question, if you just want to see the selected with wires instead of the whole scene, I'd recommend setting a hotkey to "Display Selected with Edged Faces". When enabled this will make it so only the selected mesh will show with wires.
With automatic LODs (which I believe are enabled by default...?) I was getting heavy FPS drops. Are you sure that's the best solution? =o Is there any tweaking I should do to improve the performance of UE4 embedded LODs system? =0
When you created the racetrack with a spline you can enable the 3d display mode and set it to a rectangular shape. Then turn on the "generate mapping coordinates" checkbox. The created UVs will create a good base and you wont have to adjust it much.
If you go System > Form Editor: Click Find Form (Then click the F on the side to enable search) "Basic" it brings up a list, right click on the one in Tool Bars > modo Tools > Basic, and there should be an option Assign to Key.
What a fantastic Constitution-class starship! I've put in a request to toggle texture filtering and enable pencil painting among the other things you mentioned - our 3DO programmer will take a look at this thread. Thanks for bringing it up!
