I still want to see the girl in more of a sci-fi getup. Keep the shaved head, add some surface-level wetware or something on there, toss her in a stark and spartan jumpsuit. The other two I'd love to see finished are Harkonnen and the Alien, so maybe I'm just feeling sci-fi today. -

I say go around and look at where you live. You be amaze by what ideas you can come up. Then it's just a matter of turning them into what you like, fantasy, sci fi, etc -

For the Prop I would vote the Exteel prop piece. Im a huge sci-fi nerd. The painterly stuff is great as well. I vote all including the suggestions from the other Polycounters! All great pieces! I cant make up my mind! I would just choose the sci-fi stuff for my portfolio. -

I like those textures, a decent blend of 'clean sci fi' and over the top wear and tear sci fi. A happy medium in short. But that door, urgh. So bland and out of place for such an integral part of the texture. It appears that its a sliding door, but those grey strips make it look like hinges which conflict with the whole… -

HOWEVER ... if Superman can move at lightning speeds, then how is he even there when the ktyptonite fist is thrown? BAH I SAY! BAH!! Although it IS a nice touch that they're fighting in a generic sci-fi corridor. Well played. -

Re: The Bi-Weekly Substance Challenge (Challenge 13, 14, 15, Materialize)
Try not to copy the Sci-Fi ones 1-1 due to being done by other artists but if you do copy 1-1 then make sure to credit the artist. I do recommend with the sci-fi wall looking at ref online from other artists and coming up with your own if you can. Look forward to seeing everyones work. -
