I guess it could be pretty cool if you're looking at your model in true scale. Product designers would love that I bet. Still, I doubt this would enable me to model a motorcycle any better than I already can. :/
people that enable threads like these are just as culpable of this spoonfeeding trend... nowadays theres no excuse with artstation , pinteret, deviant art etc. I seriously doubt you had no idea about these sites since you know/registered in polycount. This thread is wut
Thanks for the reply and the tip ! I have enabled Global Supersampler for 2.5 Star (Hoping it was the right one) And the results are waaay better ! Thanks ! This helped out for the AO bake but is there any way to get the Normals to bake better in Max ? Here is a screen of the normals.
Thanks, Joopson! I went to "Gamma and LUT" in "Preference Settings" and I turned off "Enable Gamma/LUT correction". This has apparently solved the problem, because I can see the image clearly. Thanks, mates, for your help and attention.
I had ssimilar issues when going from modo to maya. I only know this works for FBX, no idea if you can do it for OBJ - you can edit the import settings of the FBX and enable "unlock normals" checkbox, that should fix it.

check out the graphite tools. there are some awesome tools in there. Geopoly is a personal favorite. it turns any n sided polygon into a perfect circle for the startup script have you tried entering expert mode and re enabling the ui parts you want.
Also...I have auto-subscribe enable...so I get instant email notifications when someone replies to a thread I replied.... ....yeah, I'm not getting any of those emails. They might lag and attack my mailbox at the same time.
The scene is looking good Mazvix. The only thing I wanted to point out is that the shadows from the pipes are incorrect (based on where the only visible light source is). I believe there is an option within the light to enable/disable shadows, maybe try play with that.
